Hand Hewn Post & Beam Entry Way

This entry way is constructed with trusses in post and beam design. The trusses are set upon treated posts. Design and construction of this type lends itself well to many variations in style and overall decor. Post and beam is versatile and blends with contemporary or rustic homes depending upon the other choices made with the finishing (such as lighting, wall finishes, finishing of post and beam wood structure, etc.)


This log home is constructed with a square log, dovetailed at the corners and the porch is finished with a mountain laurel & peeled pine log railing

Log Post & Beam Porch

This porch structure has been designed with heavy timber log posts and beams make up the design of the roof support. The rustic porch railing is made from pine and mountain laurel. Heavy timber posts from hand peeled logs provide a clean, yet rustic look to a home or other structure. The knots and burls of the original trees can be appreciated for many years.


This log home is constructed with hand hewn square logs, dovetailed at the corners The entry porch is supported by log posts and the upper areas of the home are enclosed with board and batten

Rustic Porch Entry Way

This quaint rustic porch entry joins the original hand hewn log house to an entrance of the board and batten sided addition/sunroom. The dovetail corners of the hand hewn log structure set off the authentically "old time" appearance of the home.
